Why is this conference for you?

Presentations selected from submitted abstracts will communicate the latest in cutting-edge pancreatic islet beta-cell research in relevance to both type-1 and -2 diabetes. The hope of the organizing committee is that the participation of the roughly 150 islet investigators will result in greater collaborations among individuals and their supporting groups.

Towards this end, funds have been raised to provide awards for the top three oral and poster presentations given by young investigators, postdoctoral fellows or students.
